Most people don’t realize they’re feeding the wrong wolf.This morning in meditation, I was reminded of the well-known parable often attributed to a Cherokee elder about the two wolves inside us.Inside each of us live two wolves.One feeds on fear.
Comparison.
Resentment.
The old story that we are not enough.The other feeds on courage.
Compassion.
Self-trust.
The quiet voice that says, choose differently.In the story, a child asks which wolf wins.The elder answers:
The one you feed.Not once.
Not in a big moment.But every day.Through your thoughts.
Your reactions.
Your self-talk.
Where you place your attention.This is not about toxic positivity.
